Important New iPhone Setting in iOS 16.2

If you’re an iPhone user, there’s a new update in iOS 16.2 called “Advanced Data Protection” that allows users to encrypt their iCloud backups so not even Apple can access their information.

Be forewarned that if you encrypt your backups but forget your recovery key, Apple will not be able to recover your data for you!
